1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using the website at ruizbuiltllc.com (the “Site”), or by contacting RuizBuilt Remodeling LLC (“RuizBuilt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) through the Site, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Who we are
RuizBuilt Remodeling LLC is a limited liability company organized in the State of Texas and a certified remodeling contractor operating in Dallas, Texas and the surrounding Dallas–Fort Worth area. We provide residential remodeling services including bathroom remodeling, tile installation, flooring, interior and exterior painting, and full home renovations.
3. Use of this website
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You agree that you will not:
- Use the Site in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, or local law or regulation;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any connected system;
- Introduce any virus, malware, or other harmful code;
- Use any automated system, bot, or scraper to access or copy content from the Site without our written permission;
- Copy, reproduce, or republish material from the Site except as allowed in Section 10.
We may suspend or restrict access to the Site at any time, without notice, for maintenance, security, or any other reason.
4. Estimates, quotes & pricing
- Estimates are free and provided for planning purposes. An estimate is not a bill and does not create an obligation for you to hire us or for us to perform work.
- Any price, allowance, or timeline we share by phone, WhatsApp, email, or on the Site is preliminary until confirmed in a written estimate or contract signed by both parties.
- Written estimates are valid for 30 days from their date unless stated otherwise. Prices may change after that period due to material costs, labor availability, or scope discovered on inspection.
- Estimates are based on the information and site conditions known at the time. Conditions that are hidden or not reasonably visible during a walkthrough (for example, water damage, rot, mold, non-code wiring or plumbing, or structural issues discovered once demolition begins) are not included and may require a change order under Section 8.
5. Scope of services & project contracts
The specific work we will perform for you, the materials, the price, the payment schedule, and the timeline are defined in a separate written estimate and/or contract (the “Project Documents”). No work is authorized until you have signed the Project Documents and paid any required deposit. Marketing descriptions on the Site are general and do not define the scope of any individual project.
6. Scheduling, delays & site access
- Start dates and completion dates in any estimate are good-faith projections, not guarantees.
- You agree to provide safe, reasonable access to the work area, along with access to water and electricity, during working hours.
- We are not responsible for delays outside our reasonable control, including weather, supplier backorders, permit or inspection delays, or delays caused by other trades or by the client.
- If the project is paused at the client’s request or because of client non-response for more than 14 days, we may reschedule remaining work based on crew availability and may adjust pricing for verified material cost increases.
7. Payment terms
- Payment amounts, deposits, progress payments, and final payment are set out in the Project Documents.
- Unless the Project Documents say otherwise, invoices are due upon receipt.
- Past-due balances may accrue interest at the lesser of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate allowed by Texas law, plus reasonable costs of collection.
- Final payment is due upon substantial completion of the work, meaning the work is complete enough for its intended use, aside from minor punch-list items.
- We accept the payment methods listed in the Project Documents. Returned payments are subject to a fee.
8. Change orders
Any change to the agreed scope, materials, or finishes — whether requested by you or required by conditions discovered during the work — must be documented in a written change order describing the change and its effect on price and schedule. Change orders are payable as stated in the change order. We are not obligated to perform additional work until the change order is signed.
9. Workmanship
We stand behind our labor. Any workmanship warranty, its length, and what it covers are stated in the Project Documents. Manufacturer warranties on materials, fixtures, and appliances are provided by those manufacturers and passed through to you. A workmanship warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, movement or settling of the structure, damage from misuse or lack of maintenance, work by others, or materials supplied by the client.
10. Intellectual property
The Site and its content — including the RuizBuilt name, logo, text, graphics, layout, and photos of our completed work — are owned by RuizBuilt Remodeling LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own, non-commercial use in considering our services. You may not otherwise copy, distribute, modify, or use our content or branding without our prior written permission.
11. Content you send us
When you send us photos, videos, measurements, plans, or descriptions of your project through the Site, WhatsApp, email, or any form, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use that material for the purpose of preparing your estimate and performing the work. We may also use before-and-after photos of completed projects for marketing. If you do not want photos of your project used in marketing, tell us in writing and we will honor that request.
12. Third-party links & messaging services
The Site may link to third-party services such as WhatsApp, Google, or a mapping provider. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Your use of WhatsApp or any other third-party messaging service is also governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy policy.
13. Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that information on the Site is complete, accurate, or current. Nothing on the Site is legal, engineering, or design advice.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RuizBuilt Remodeling LLC and its owner, members, employees, and crew will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100). This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and it does not apply to the separate Project Documents, which contain their own liability terms.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RuizBuilt Remodeling LLC and its owner, members, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
16. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site that is not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve the matter in good faith for at least 30 days.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
